Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Stanford Presbyterian Church with the Rev. R. Morrison Means officiating, assisted by the Rev. R.R. Neff. There will also be a short service at 3 p.m. at the Emden Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Green Hill Cemetery at San Jose.
Mrs. Lancaster was born Mary E. Mammen on Nov. 23, 1895 in Emden, the daughter of John and Tena (Groenhagen) Mammen. She married Clarence J. Lancaster On March 30, 1913. After their marriage, the couple lived in San Jose for three years. The last 20 years they have lived in Stanford.
Surviving are seven children, Kenneth, McLean; Orvid, Jefferson Barracks, St. Louis, Mo.; LaVonne, Milberne, Clarence Jr., Dwayne and Leonard, all at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Mammen, and the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Lawrence Short, Atlanta; Clarise, Peoria; Theodore, Delavan; Arthur, Danvers; Mrs. John Briggs, Delavan; and Harold, Byron, Delmar, Leland, and Milton, all of Emden. Four grandchildren also survive.
She was a member of the Stanford Presbyterian Church.

When her husband Clarence (CJ) passed away in 1968 he was buried in Bloomington's Eastlawn Cemetery. Sometime after that Mary was moved to Eastlawn as well, as her final resting place.
