McGEHEE RITES SET MONDAY

Loyd McGehee of Broken Bow died Saturday, June 27, at his residence at the age of 81.

He was born to William and Lena McGehee on Dec. 22, 1916, in Seminole. He had lived in Broken Bow for the past 30 years after moving from Texas.

McGehee was a member of the Westside Church of Christ and enjoyed fishing and playing the French harp.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife. Dale, of the home; sons, Lloyd G. McGehee and Wayne McGehee, both of Broken Bow; a daughter, Linda Marlow of Waco, Ga.; sisters, Ima Coleman of Kerrville, Texas, Minnie Gumbert of Ingram, Texas, and Lilian Grumbles of Austin, Texas; 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Westside Church of Christ in Broken Bow with John Tidmore officiating. Interment will follow in Watson Memorial Cemetery in the Oak Hill community.
