Roscoe Melton, 78, of route 2, died Friday at the Maple Hill Hospital following a long illness.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Maggie Earl, Mrs. Mable Denney and Mrs. Ruthie Denney, two sons, Chester and Tucker Melton, two sisters, Mrs. Dora Booher and Mrs. Nora Humble, two brothers, Johnnie and Gilbert Melton.

Funeral services were held Sunday 2 pm at Cedar Hill Church conducted by Bro. Lovell and Bro. Dixon. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Sewell Funeral Home directing. - Clinton County News.
