Carol B. Baraby, 87, died Tuesday, May 22, 2012, in Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans.

She was born July 16, 1924, in Charlestown, NH, daughter of the late George & Elsie (Phelps) Blodgett.

Carol was married to Frank D. Baraby on April 21, 1949. He predeceased her January 3, 1989.

She is survived by her four children. Nancy Aja and her husband, Joaquin and their daughter, Mollie of Swanton, Carol A. Baraby and her husband, Bob Champigny of Bluffton, SC and her son, Stephen Silva of Massachusetts, Frank G. Baraby and his partner, Lori Grout of East Calais, VT and his daughter, Gabrielle Baraby of Johnson, VT and Susan Shepard and her husband, Gil Littler of Boston, MA, She also leaves her brother Russell Blodgett of Bellows Falls, VT and a sister, Blanche Handley of Springfield, VT, nieces and nephews.

Carol is predeceased by her sisters, Aleda, Esther and Marion and brothers, Harold & George.

There will be no calling hours and a celebration of Carol's life will be held at a later date.
