The following information was provided by Find A Grave contributor Robin Hixon.
He was one of the founders of Askren Cemetery. I spoke with caretaker, Don Edwards, grandson of Lester Harding. He gave me that info. may also be a founder of Turkey Creek Meth Ch, but my notes are sketchy.

The following information was provided by Richard Weide.
You have Fred Light's birthdate as "unknown". He was born 29 Mar 1887 (death certificate). Also, his gravestone as pictured shows 1887. I got interested in Light family genealogy because his father, John Light, was brought to Woodson county by wagon from Illinois as a young man by my great-great-Grandfather Gottfried Weide. You might add Freds parents, John and Elizabeth (Klingenberg) Light, who are also buried in Askren, and you should have their data. note: early Census records show him as Fred "W" Light, only the later Census records show him as Fred "L" -- sincerely, Richard Weide
