Mrs. Anna H. Duncan, wife of the Rev. F.A. Duncan, died at their home, 924 South Aurora Street, at 925 Monday evening. She was taken suddenly and severely ill at midnight Wednesday, September 14.

The Funeral was held from the First Christian Church at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon by the Rev. A. L. Alexander, the pastor. The body remained in state at the Phillips Funeral Home from 1:15 to 2:15 p.m. Wednesday.

Mrs. Duncan was 63 years old, the daughter of the late A.W. and Matcha McBroom, who resided north of Eldon. She united wit the Olean Christian Church at the age of 14 years.

September 16, 1891, Miss McBroom was married to James Stoddard, who died January 23, 1903. To this union one daughter, Irene, was born. She is now Mrs. William Hanna of Sanford, Tex. May 7, 1905, Mrs. Stoddard was married to F.A. Duncan and to them one son, Harry W. Duncan, was born.

Mrs. Duncan had been in failing health about nine months. She is survived by her husband, her son, a daughter, two sisters, Mrs. Daisy Toury of Sedalia, and Mrs. Dollie Atkinson, and a brother, Joe H. McBroom, who resides north of Eldon.

Mrs. Hanna of Texas, Mr. and Mrs. Harry W. Duncan of Kansas City, Mrs. Toury and the husband, with other relatives were at the bedside when Mrs. Duncan quietly passed away.
