Margie Amamda Gray Davis, 91,

Died Friday, Feb. 2. 2001.A native of Riverside, N. C., Mrs. Davis was a daughter of the late John Javan and Mary May Stiles Gray and was the widow of Ross Franklin Davis. She attended the Morrison Presbyterian School and the Franklin High School. She served as president of the Demorest PTA, the Demorest Womens Club, the Women of the Cornelia Presbyterian Church and was a memeber of the Tomochichi Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She retired from the postal service in 1972.

Services was at 3 p. m. Sunday at Cornelia First Presbyterian Church with the Revs. Blaine Walker and Richard Scoggins officia ting. Burial was in Yonah Memorial Gardens. Survivors include a daughter, Mary Celeste, Cornelia;a son, Howard Franklin, Toccoa; two sisters Virginia Gray Baldwin, Franklin, N.C. , and Lucy Gray Crawford,Asheville, N. C.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
