James Hollingsworth, 52, of 77 Pennsylvania Ave., Newark., NJ., died suddenly at his home on Monday afternoon. A resident of Salem for a number of years, he was born in Newark, son of the late Rose and James Hollingsworth. He served in the Navy from 1941 to 1945.
He is survived by his widow, Ruth, of Newark; a daughter, Pamela Stanton Andrade, and a sister, Mrs. Ceolia Nokes, of Salem, also nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted Monday at 1pm at the Churchman Home for Funerals, Seventh and 13th Avenue, Newark, NJ. With burial in the Veterans Cemetery, Newark. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday between 1 and 3pm.
