Mrs. Emma Coberly, born August 16, 1857 near Zanesville, Ohio, died at her home on West Sixth Street in Claremore, Oklahoma, Monday, February 23, 1953, at the age of 95 years, 5 months and 7 days.

Mrs. Coberly moved to Soldier, Kansas with her parents in 1873, where she became a member of the Methodist church, February 26, 1882 she was united in marriage to Aaron Coberly and to this union were born two sons and four daughters.

In 1901, the Coberly family moved to Claremore, Oklahoma where the family home has since been located. After moving here, Mrs. Coberly transferred her membership to the Claremore Methodist church.

She was preceded in death by two sons, who died at an early age, and her husband, who died in 1947.

Funeral arrangements were under direction of the Rice Funeral home here, with services held at 2:00, Wednesday afternoon, February 25, in the Rice Chapel. Burial was in Woodlawn cemetery.

Those surviving include four daughters; Mrs. A. A. Wilson of the home, Mrs. Nora Magee, Dallas, Texas; Mrs. Mae Whitehorn, Ponca City and Mrs. Bess Boley, Pauling, Kansas
