Crossville Chronicle January 7, 1932

Last Friday, January 1st, death claimed "Aunt" Julia Lewis. She was ill only a few hours; she was about 80 years old. Her husband, Lige Lewis, passed away 7 or 8 years ago.
She is survived by 5 sons and 1 daughter, all of whom live in this county. One sister, Mrs Jane Lowe, one brother, James VanWinkle, also live in this county. The funeral was conducted by Rev W F Scarbrough at the Bowlin Cemetery Sunday morning.
