Bertha was the youngeest of 12 children born to Alfred & Annie (Willett) Nickerson. She married Clyde Henry Ferguson on Feb. 15, 1930 and they had 1 son, Charles aka 'Buddy'. Bertha was employed by the 'Wilmars Hat Shop', The Newberry store, Lerch & Daileys and for the Bell Air Craft as a 'rivitor' during WWII. She loved to crochet and tend her flower garden. Her husband Clyde remarried after her death.
