Mrs. Lemley was born January 19, 1908, at Savannah, Tenn., and died December 24 at a Temple, Tex., hospital.
She is a former resident and a long-time employee at the Southeast Missouri State University Cafeteria in Cape Girardeau. The family had lived in Texas for about five years prior to her death.
She leaves a son, Ezra Lemley of Belton, Tex.; three sisters, Mrs. Verna Fullerton and Mrs. Lucille Martin, both of Steele; and Mrs. Kate Prince of Bernie, Mo. She also leaves a brother, John Hurley of Steele and four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Dean Cole, James Fullerton, Glen Hurley, Robert Driskill, Gerald Hurley and Johnny Hurley.
Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with the German-Aumon Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
