O.W. Kunze
APACHE (Special) - Services are scheduled at 4 p.m., Saturday in Hopewell Baptist Church west of Apache for Orville William Kunze, 40. Rt. 2 Fort Cobb, who was fatally injured in a traffic accident Thursday.
Mr. Kunze died in a Lawton hospital as a result of injuries received in a mishap at a county road intersection five miles north and five miles west of Apache. The accident occurred about 7:30 p.m.
Mr. Kunze was born in Broken Arrow Oct. 26, 1923, and was married to Betty Arrington April 18, 1951, at Yuma, Ariz.
A veteran of Work War II, he served three years in the Air Corps. He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church, where services will be officiated by Rev. Pat Davis, Houston, Tex. Burial will be in a Hopewell cemetery northwest of Apache under direction of Crews Funeral Home.
Mr. Kunze is survived by his wife; five sons, Rodney, Harold, Curtis, Richard and David, and two daughters; Vickie and Sherry, all of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kunze, northwest of Apache; and three brothers, Warren Kunze, Cyril; Lawrence Kunze, Apache, and Dwight Kunze, Broxton.
