Mrs. Margaret Alexander, 65, wife of George M. (Ben) Alexander, of Cranberry Corners, died at their home Friday, January 21, 1944, of a lingering illness, which has kept her confined to her bed for more than a year.
Their son, John Leonard Alexander, proceeded her in death two years ago while attending the University of Oregon.
Mrs. Alexander was born in Henderson County, Kentucky, January 10, 1879. She has been a resident of this community for nineteen years.
Funeral services were held in the Baptist Church Monday at 2 o'clock with Miss Mary Ayers officiating. Burial under the direction Schroeder Bros. Mortuary, was in the IOOF Cemetery.
