Claudia Allison

LUBBOCK- Claudia Allison passed from this life May 14th 2012. Claudia was born June 8th 1929 in Haskell, Texas to Leonard and Gladys Fraley. She married Harlis Allison August 13th 1949. Claudia moved to Happy, Texas with her husband Harlis for a short time before settling in Lubbock in 1955. Claudia worked in several dress shops around Lubbock for many years before coming to work for Alliance Federal Credit Union, where she retired as VP of Lending. Claudia was a devoted Christian and member of South Plains Church of Christ in Lubbock. As part of her church activities and fellowship, she loved being a part of the Silver Tones. Claudia was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved, Harlis Allison.

She is survived by her son, Randy and wife Pam of Brownfield; two grandchildren, Amanda Stigers and husband, Mark of Farmers Branch and Ty Allison and wife Sarah; great-granddaughter, Ainsley Blake Allison of Lubbock; and a brother, Roy Fraley and wife Annette of Tyler.

Celebration of Life services will be held at 1 pm, Friday, May 18, 2012 in Resthaven's Abbey Chapel. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Resthaven Funeral Home.
