Funeral Mass for Joseph Bonura, 87, of 4195 Milam will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Pius X Catholic Church. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery under direction of Broussard's Mortuary. A Christian wake will be at 7 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel. Bonura died Thursday at 6 p.m. in the Baptist Hospital. Survivors include his wife, Katie Bonura of Beaumont; two daughters, Alvita Cooke of Orange and Josephine Breen of Louisville, Ky.; two sons, Frank C. and C.J. Bonura, both of Beaumont; four brothers, Frank F. and Labo Bonura, both of Beaumont, Sam Bonura of Kerrville and Philip Bonura of Dickerson; three sisters, Mary Ross and Frances Crosby, both of Galveston, and Angela Nienstedt of Houston, eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
