On September 20, 1851 at the Basilique Notre Dame, Montreal, Canada she married Louis Lorion. He was the son of Bernard and Marguerite (Provost) Lorion.
Louis and Ermina had five children, Louis, Rose, Joseph, Moses and an infant who died at birth. Of these children only Moses lived to adulthood.
According to her Michigan Death Certificate she died from asthma, with a contributing factor of exhaustion. Her husband, Louis, had died in 1902.
