Bill was the son of Wm. aka WLL & Mabel (Bradley) Austin. He was married twice; He married his 1st wife the former Francis Maloney in 1941 & they had 2 children Helen & William Lewis Austin Jr. aka 'Billy'. After his divorce he married his 2nd wife, the former Margaret Honig on 4/19/1945 & they had 3 children; Craig, Mary & John. Bill served in the US Army during WWII & was discharged on 11/21/1945. He retired from the Connors service station in Ransomville. He was a member of the Ransomville Fire Company & a life time residant of said town.
