Luverba Belt-Board is the daughter of James P. Belt and Mary Jane Palmer-Belt. She married Ernest Edward Board on 22 Dec 1896 in Hardin, Illinois. They had 5 children; Henry, James Aaron, Lydia, Paul E and William Prentice.

OBITUARY
Lueverly Belt was born May 10, 1877, in Hardin County in the Tower Rock community where she grew up and attended school.
In 1895, at the age of 18, she was united in marriage to Ernest Board who preceded her in death by 2 years 5 months and 24 days.
To this marriage were born five children, Henry, who died in infancy, and Aaron who died in early manhood, Paul and Prentice now living in Elizabethtown, and Lydia Belt of Tolu, Kentucky.
In addition to her 3 living children mentioned, she leaves six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
She professed faith in Christ at an early age and became a member of Peters Creek Baptist church.
At the age of 72 years, two months and 16 days she was called away to her eternal home. The home she often spoke of to her children.
She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends, but her memory will be an inspiration and a guiding light to their pathway.
