20 Mar 1929 Charles Bock, 58, past grand knight of Allegheny Council Knights of Columbus, No. 285, and president of the Bock-Stauffer Tobacco Co., died Friday in Suburban General Hospital, Bellevue. Mr. Bock was a native of old Allegheny. He lived at 910 California ave., Avalon. He received his education in Allegheny Parochial Schools and later attended St. Vincent's College, Beatty, Pa. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Emma Bock; two sons, Charles Bock and Frank Bock, and two daughters, Mrs. W.F. Firtsche and Mrs. Joseph R. North. Funeral Services will be at 9 a.m. next Wednesday in the Church of the Assumption, Bellevue, with interment following in the North Side Catholic Cem. [newspaper obituary.]
