He was married to Katie (Halteman), who survived. Also surviving were 2 daughters: Frances (Mrs. Abram S. Jones) and Anna (Mrs. Luke Gehman); 3 sons (Darwin, Stanley, and Willard), 25 grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, one sister, Lillian (Mrs. Solomon Kratz), and one brother (Clarence).
He was a member of the Swamp Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Dec. 27, 1972; interment in the church cemetery.
