Elma Bamberg
Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home for Mrs. Elma L. Bamberg, 80, Dearborn, Mich., a former Topekan, who died Thursday at her home. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
She was born Dec. 18, 1887, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E.D. Barnes. She lived in Topeka many years before she moved to Dearborn, Mich., in 1958.
She attended Fort Hays State College and was a federal civil service employee at the Topeka Supply Depot and Topeka VA Hospital before she retired in 1958.
Mrs. Bamberg was a member of Mount Olive Community Church at Dearborn, Mich., and was a former member of First United Methodist Church in Topeka.
Her husband, Albert E. Bamberg, died in 1944.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Rhea Mroczek, Huntington Valley, Pa.; two sons, LaVerne A. Bamberg, Hixton, Wis. and Jack E, Bamberg, at home; three sisters, Mrs. Harold W. Colvin, Urbana, Ill., Mrs. Byron C. Mohrbacher, Hazardville, Conn., and Mrs. Sharon B. French, 2609 Duncan Drive; and six grandchildren.
