He served with the 15th Air Force, 376th Bomb Group, 515th Squadron as co-pilot on a B-24 in the ETO during
WWII.
He was a member of the American Legion Post #1 of Topeka. He attended Washburn University in Topeka and
Marshall College in West Virginia.
