On his grave-stone, it shows that he was born May 22, 1768 and died March 5, 1836. His wife, Nancy, buried by him, was born April 27, 1764 and died August 3, 1817.

Son: Archibald Arnold married and his 1st wife was named Pamela and she died when she was 18. She was born in 1799. Archibald Arnold married 2nd Mahala Reynolds). They had 3 children, Georgia, Larkin (killed in the Army) and James (went to Rome, GA). Archibald was known as "Baldy" and from accounts he was quite a sportsman. The old circular race track at Deadfall was in use in his youth and then later the public road below his house was used as a neighborhood race track.
