Obituary from Carroll County Times, 6 Oct 1955:

"Miss Sadie Jane Anders, 75, formerly of Taneytown, died Sunday, October 2, 1966 at the National Lutheran Home, Washington. A daughter of the late John A. and Mary J. Heck Anders, she had resided practically all her life in Taneytown before entering the Lutheran home a year ago. Miss Anders was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Taneytown. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Anna E. Aulthouse, Littlestown, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at 1 p. m. at the C. 0. Fuss and Son funeral home, Taneytown. The Rev. Stanley Jennings, her pastor, officiated. Burial was in the Lutheran church cemetery, Taneytown."
