Major League Baseball Player. Born in Blairs, Virginia, after six years in the minor leagues, he made his debut as a right hand pitcher for the Kansas City Athletics on July 15, 1956. He ended his career with A's in 1958, with 14 wins, 21 loss, 1 save, 122 strikeouts and a 3.56 earned run average. He died in Danville, Virginia, of cancer.
