Mrs. Scott is dead. Mrs. A. W. Scott, after a sickness of almost a lifetime, died at Bonner Springs, Kansas, Monday, March 6, 1899, at 11:40 pm.
Mary Thrall, the daughter of G. E. Thrall, was born in Delaware Co. Ohio, October 4, 1844, and in June 1864 was married to Maj. A. W. Scott. The Scott's moved to Greenwood County, KS in 1871.
The remains were brought to Eureka, Tuesday and on Wednesday afternoon and were laid to rest in the family tomb at that place. To the husband, son and relatives of the dead we extend our sincere sympathy.
