August Binzel, son of Balthazer (Paul) and Eva Binzel, died of diphtheria on March 22, 1880, at age two years, attending physician was Brooke. (Helena Independent, 3/23/1880) He is buried in Section A, Row 12.
Note: "An Afflicted Family. Mr. B. Binzel, yesterday, lost another child by the dread disease, diphtheria. This is the third time death has invaded this family within the past month, each time taking away one of the bright little children. Mrs. Binzel is now, we understand, ill with the same disease that has proved so fatal to her little ones." (Helena Independent, 3/23/1880)
