WATERVILLE - Helen (Crock) Sullivan, 88, of 7 Collette St., Waterville, a longtime resident of the community, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2004, at Oak Grove Nursing Home. She was born in Ashland on Sept. 9, 1915, the daughter of Eugene and Marie (Rossignol) Picard.

She was a communicant of Notre Dame Parish of the Holy Spirit, of which she was a past Eucharistic minister. She worked at C.F. Hathaway Co. as a supervisor of quality control for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Francis Sullivan, and stepson Michael; her daughter-in-law, Lorraine Crock of California; three grandchildren, Mark of the Navy, Philip of Oregon, and Darcie Owen of California; and three great-grandchildren. Also one brother, Richard (Dick) Picard of Litchfield; two sisters, Annette Veilleux of Colorado and Evelyn Nadeau of Winslow, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; her first husband, Phillip Crock and son Derwood Crock; two brothers, Alfred and Lawrence (Larry) Picard; and three sisters, Isabelle Poisson, Stella Picard and Jeannette Doyon. (Morning Sentinel 2/26/2004)
