Dorothy Mee passed away quietly on Sunday, after living a full life with her dear husband, Frank Mee, who predeceased her in 2006. Many may remember Dorothy as an Ashland Junior High School foods teacher, others will know her as loyal and kind friend.

She and Frank met at a dance in 1963, and were married in Reno in 1964. Dorothy was proud to say, "we never had an argument."

During their 25 years in Ashland, Ore., Dorothy and Frank did stain glass projects together, enjoyed walking, biking, enjoyed grandchildren and visiting with family. Dorothy made beautiful stitchery and knitted many Christmas gifts.

After Dorothy's retirement, they traveled in their motorhome to many places, including Death Valley and British Columbia, which they felt was the most beautiful place they ever saw.

Once they moved to Central Point, Ore., Dorothy took up line dancing, swimming, and walked with her neighbors and friends.

Dorothy leaves behind a son, Jim Tyler; daughter, Jodi Wheeler; Frank's daughters, Jaci Daskarolis, Judy Ryan; along with grandchildren, Alisa, Nick, Kaity, and Briana; great-grandchildren, Renee and Rylan; and sisters, Florence, Violet, Freda, Audrey and Alta Jean.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Phoebe; son, John Tyler; brother, John Nissen; granddaughter, Michelle Tyler; and nephew, Paul.

There wasn't a sweeter soul than Dorothy Mee. Our father gave us a special gift.
