George A Crowe, 87 years of age, died and was buried from the home of son John Crowe at Johnson's, Garrett Co, MD with Rev W S Nicholson of the ME Church South and interment at Johnson's.
He was born at Garrett Co, MD and one of the few remaining citizens who can recall stage coaches.
His wife died 18 months ago.
These children survive: Mrs William A Murphy; Mrs Calvin Wilson; Floyd, John, and Thomas Crowe of Garrett Co; Clarence and Eugene Crowe of Meyersdale PA; and Mrs Lawrence Finzel and George Crowe of Frostburg.
