Heriberto Coello, age 56, of Dyer passed away at his home surrounded by his family and loved ones on Wednesday April 8, 2009.
He was born February 5, 1953 in East Chicago, IN to the late Ricardo and Antonia (Rosado) Coello. He was a Maintenance Mechanic and Owner operator of HC Field Service. He enjoyed playing Darts and competed in several Leagues.
Mr. Coello is survived by his loving girlfriend, Kimberly Knight of Dyer; two daughters: Vicki (David) Figueroa of Bourbon, IN and Leslie Coello of Miami, FL; granddaughter, Gabriela Figueroa; former wife, Madeline Coello of Portage; the children of Kimberly: Jake and Melina; and their children: Naomi, Vivyanna, Desi and Alana, who were like his own; and two brothers: Ruben Coello of Puerto Rico and Edwin Coello of Schererville.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Service of the Word will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Edmonds and Evans Funeral Home Portage Chapel, 6941 Central Ave., Portage, IN with Rev. Douglas Mayer officiating. Burial will follow in Heritage Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friday April 10, 2009 at the funeral home.
