He was the husband of the late Emma Senft and the late Elma R. Senft. He was retired as a supervisor at Pittman Manufacturing Co.
He was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ and the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, York Lodge. Born in York, he was a son of the late Paul and Emma Runk Senft.
Survivors include two daughters, Sallye C. Limbert, Garderville, Nev.; and Betty Lou Smith, York; four grandchildren; and five great-granddaughters; three sisters, Mary March, Hanover; and Dorothy Gentzler and Beatrice Markle, both of York.
Viewing will be 7 to 9p.m., Thursday, at the Etzweiler Funeral Home, 1111 W. Market St. Funeral will be 10a.m., Friday, at the funeral home. His pastor, the Rev. Thomas D. Bellis, will officiate.
Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Elks Scholarship Fund, c/o Chapter 213, 223 N. George St., York, Pa. 17403.
