Born in Red River County on May 3, 1925, a son of John Henry Crenshaw Sr. and Nellie Ann Cleek Crenshaw.
He attended Clarksville schools and was a Veteran of WW II, serving in the Seabees.
He married Ruth Odell VanDeaver in Paris.
He was a carpenter and worked in sand and gravel excavation and was a member of First Baptist Church in Blossom.
Surviving is his wife; a son, of Pattonville; a daughter, of Cunningham; a brother, of Cunningham; and two sisters.
