Mrs. Alice Schoffstoll, 85, the widow of Burns L. Schoffstoll of Madison township, died Saturday afternoon at Summers clinic. Final rites were administered by the Rev. J. B. Farrell at the Schaub funeral home Monday afternoon, with burial in Ebenezer cemetery.
A resident of Richland county for 44 years, Mrs. Schoffstoll is survived by five sons, Harry and Richard, both of Olney, Fred of Oblong, Roy of Portland, OR, and Robert of Sheffield: two daughters, Mrs. Lola Weston of Los Angeles, CA and Mrs. Rachel Blackford of Loveland, CO; 30 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on Dec. 14, 1941.
