THE PARIS NEWS, Sunday, April 7, 1963, p.6: 'Mrs. Annie Bell Corn, 89, familiarly known as Granny Corn, died at home, 702 Main St., Saturday at 2:45 p.m. She was the widow of M. H. (Bud) Corn, who died in June, 1920. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Rose Long, and a son, Bill Corn, both making their home together with her, and 56 other descendants in three generations. She was born in Red River County, March, 17, 1874, daughter of Jim and Lizzie (Turpin) Jackson, and had lived here since 1937. She was a Baptist. Gene Roden & Sons have charge of arrangements for burial in Forest Chapel Cemetery, but other details were incomplete.'
Tombstone is inscribed, 'Annie B. Corn.' Buried next to Samuel M. Long.
