Obituary Orville Hunter
Orville W. Hunter, 78, of Troutdale, died at his home Oct. 10, after a short illness.
He was born in Centerville, Wash, and moved with his family to Toppenish, Wn. when he was six years old and received his education there. He lived in the Toppenish area for many years where he farmed.
He moved to Portland in 1939 and lived in this area until two years ago when he moved to Troutdale. He is survived by his daughters, Mrs. Rollie (Jean) Dryden; Mrs. Joyce Moore of Mid-County; Mrs. Margaret Snyder of Troutdale; sons, Major William B. Hunter of Vandenberg Air Force Base and Robert O. Hunter of Troutdale; 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren also survive. Funeral Services were held Monday, Oct. 13, at Bateman Funeral Chapel with vault interment at Lincoln Memorial.
