A resident of Denham Springs, she passed away Sunday, Feb. 6, 2011, at her residence. She was 90 and a native of Frost. Visitation at Christ Community Church (formerly Eden Baptist Church) on Wednesday, Feb. 9, from 9 a.m. until funeral service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Merelin McCon and the Rev. Max Landry. Burial in Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery. She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Roppolo-Wall and her husband, David; sister, Bettye Efferson; grandchildren, Lawrence "Chance" Roppolo and Stacy Duplessie; and great-grandchildren, Wade, Amber, Vertis and Justin. Preceded in death by her husband, Brace Duplessie; son, Dwight Duplessie; grandson, Brian Duplessie; parents, Clarence and Elvie Efferson; and brothers, Glenn Phillip and Clarence Ray Efferson.
