Glen Philip "Tommy" Efferson, a retired storeroom supervisor with Copolymer Rubber & Chemical Corp. and a resident of Maurepas, died Friday, June 30, 2000, at Riverview Medical Center, Gonzales. He was 74 and a native of Frost. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

Arrangements entrusted to Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, with religious services in the chapel, conducted by the Rev. Sidney McMorris. Interment in Denham Springs Memorial Park.

Survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Catherine Cannon Efferson; a step-daughter, Loise Faye Johnson; a step-son, Donald Ray Brown; two sisters, Opal Duplessie and Betty Efferson; two step-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Elvie Smiley Efferson; and a brother, Clarence Ray Efferson.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Head of Island and American Legion Post 0245 in Maurepas.
