Chatsworth, July 3. -- (Special.) -- Francis Perkins died Saturday afternoon [02 Jul 27] at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Perkins, three miles west and one mile north of Chatsworth. He had been ill ten days with sinus trouble which later developed into meningitis.
He was born in Chatsworth on December 26, 1902 [26 Feb 05], and was a graduate of the 1925 class of the Chatsworth high school. Beside his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Russell, of Akron, Ohio, and Roy Arthur of Chatsworth; and three sisters, Mrs. Hazel McCollum, of Chatsworth, Marietta, of Chicago, and Myrtle, at home.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. C.W. Leonard of the Methodist church in charge. Burial will be made in Chatsworth cemetery.
