CHATSWORTH -- (PNS) -- Mrs. Mary Perkins, 90, died at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday (July 20, 1971) at St. James Hospital, Pontiac.
Her funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Carl B. Fox officiating. Burial will be in the Chatsworth Cemetery.
She was born Aug. 5, 1880, at Berne, Switzerland, a daughter of John and Rosina Switzer Wenger. She married Charles E. Perkins Jan. 6, 1898, at Chatsworth. He died in 1954.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Hazel McCullom, Frankfort, Ind.; Mrs. Marietta Albee, Fairbury; Mrs. Myrtle Hamilton, Park Ridge; two sons, Roy, Chatsworth; Russell, California; a sister, Mrs. Lillie Metz, Elmwood; 18 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by two sons, one daughter, three brothers and two sisters.
She came to the United States at one year of age, and was a member of the United Methodist Church, Chatsworth.
Memorials may be made to either the United Methodist Church fund or the Good Samaritan Home at Flanagan.
