He lived most of his life in Camby, IN, but did also live in Indianapolis, IN for 17 years. Before retiring in 1988, he was a lacquer maker at Lilly Industrial Coatings in Indianapolis, IN for 40 years. He was a Navy World War II veteran.

Martin of Greenwood, Joyce Ann Martin of Indianapolis, IN, Karen Sue Fields of New Whiteland, IN; 9 Grandchildren & 4 Great Grandchildren; 4 Siblings; Arthur Martin of Arkansas, Melvin Martin of Kentucky, Mable Hewett of Ohio & Mary Ann Goodette of Kentucky.
He is preceded in death by 3 Brothers; Arnold, Archie & Reed Martin and 2 Sisters; Rosie Leathers and Jewell Martin.
Calling hours will be from 1-3pm on Friday, March 2, 2007 before the 3pm Memorial Service at Jones Family Mortuary. Rev. John Young will conduct the Memorial Service.
