Menges Mills Robert J. Hamm, 57, Spring Grove RD3, died at 10:45 p.m. Tuesday at his home. He was the husband of Mrs. Marguarite Sipe Hamm.
Mr. Hamm was the son of Jennie Case Hamm and the late Edward Hemm.
He was a member of the Lutheran congregation of St. Peter's (Lischey's) Union Church. He was an army veteran of WWII; a member of Pvt. Allen J. Beck Jr. VFW Post 5265, Spring Grove; Loyal Order of Moose 227, Hanover; Friendship Hose Co. Spring Grove, and Porter's Community Fire Co.
Mr. Hamm was a self-employed truck driver.
Surviving also are two sons. Robert J. Hamm Jr., Seven Valleys RD! and William F. Hamm at home, four daughters, Mrs. Donald Smith, 141 N. Main St., Sprin Grove; Mrs. Harry Busser, 2531A Conowago Rd. Dover; Susan R. Hamm, Broad St., Hallam; and Dianne C. Hamm, at home, and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at thwe Sauter Funeral Home, 175 N. Main St. Spring Grove. Mr. Hamm's vice pastor, the Rev. Larry A. McConnell, will officiate. Interment will be made in the church cemetery.
He died age 57 years, 1 month and 10 days.
