Jefferson--Wilford W. Hamm, 62, husband of Mrs. Romaine Stambaugh Hamm, 43 York St., died Saturday at 9:20 a.m. at York Hospital, where he had been a patient 12 days.
Mr. Hamm was employed for 25 years by Consolidated Freightways, York, before his retirement in December , 1975.
He was the son of Mrs. Jennie Case Hemm, Jefferson, and the late Edward hamm.
Mr. Hamm was a veteran of WWII. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Jefferson; Hanover Post 2506, Veteraqns of Forein Wars; Hanover Lodge 227, Loyal Order of Moose; Jefferson Fire Co. York County Firemans Association, and International Brotherhood of Teamsters.
The Rev. William H. Beck, his pastor, will officiate at funeral services Tuesday at 2 9.m. at the Sauter Funeral Home, 175, N. Main St.
Burial will be in Jefferson Cemetery.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Francis Thomas, 36 Berlin St.; two granddaughters, and a brother Robert J. Hamm, Spring Grove RD3.
He died age 62 years, 3 months and 8 days.
