Evelyn Elizabeth Skrhak Werchan, born in Granger, Texas on October 24, 1928 to Lillie and Frank Skrhak and passed away on February 24, 2019 at the age of 90.

She married Herbert Werchan on November 18, 1947. She was a faithful and active member of St. Helen Catholic Church and the Georgetown VFW until her illness confined her.

She is survived by her son Dennis, five grandchildren; Jessica, Brandon, Bryan, Tracie, and Kristi, and six great grandchildren; Jacob, Grayson, Austin, Cooper, Brooklyn and Logan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Herbert and her daughter Debra.

A visitation will be held at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 N. IH 35 in Georgetown on Friday, March 1, 2019 from 6-8 PM with the rosary beginning at 7 PM. The funeral Mass will take place the following afternoon, Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 1:30 PM at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2700 E University in Georgetown.

The burial will immediately follow at IOOF Cemetery.
