Naomi Faye Hendrix, 88, of Hannibal, died at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008, at Beth Haven Nursing Home in Hannibal. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today, Oct. 13, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service today at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home. Mrs. Hendrix was born Aug. 26, 1920, in Oakwood to Charles Edward and Edna Fay Hagan Ledbetter. She was married to Kenneth Eugene Hendrix on Sept. 19, 1947, in Hannibal. He preceded her in death Feb. 16, 1979. Survivors include sister-in-law, Colleen Ledbetter of Hannibal; brother-in-law, Samuel Hendrix of Hannibal; two sisters, Betty Leslie of Mesquite, Texas, and Mary Koob of Buena Park, Calif.; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hendrix was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Sgt. Charles Edward Ledbetter Jr.; and a sister, Ruth Cornelius. Mrs. Hendrix worked for the International Shoe Company and also was an office assistant for Dr. E.A. Porter for many years. She liked to sew and travel. Mrs. Hendrix was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Fidelis Sunday School Class at Calvary Baptist. Memorial contributions may be made to Beth Haven Activity Fund or the donor's choice, in care of James O'Donnell Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Gene Ledbetter, Mike Leslie, Tim Ledbetter, Karl Ledbetter, Jon Shepherd and David Cornelius. Honorary pallbearers will be John Koob, Jim Leslie, Richard Leslie, Charles E.
