Mary Belle Hester, 77, of Hopkinsville, died Sunday, Sept. 10, 1995, at Western State Hospital in Hopkinsville.

Born Aug. 13, 1917, in Clarksville, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Ullen W. Sherron and Myrtle I. Welker Sherron.

She was a retired clerk.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ural Hester, and one son.

She is survived by two sons, Billy A. Hester of Madisonville and, Bobby R. Hester of Hopkinsville; three daughters, Betty Jean Hester of Madisonville, Barbara A. Fritz of Atwater, Ohio, and Brenda F. Lowe of Claiksville; two sisters Janie E. Fuller and Gertrude C. London, both of Hopkinsville; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-' grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Maddux Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Childress and Rev. Denny Burchett officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Hopkinsville.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Hester, Jr., Stanley Adcock, Leonard Adcock, Walter Barnwell, Jeff Jones and Eddie Henderson. Honorary pallbearers will be Lewis Fuller, Jr., Ted London, Brandon Hester, and Jon Fritz.
