Margaret "Maggie" Lasley was the daughter of James Monroe Lasley and Nancy Ellen Brown (maiden name unknown since she was widow of William Grant Brown).
After the death of their father in 1902, most of the Lasley family moved to the Ardmore area in Carter County, OK.
Maggie married Henry Shields Horton on 4 Jul 1907 there in Carter county. They had two sons together:
1. Richard Leland Horton 1908-1995
2. Herbert Elwood Horton 1912-2003.
Maggie and H.S. divorced in 1936. (Case was heard in Carter county District Court on 1 Jan 1936). Henry moved in with in with her nephew, Randolph Lasley, and she moved in with her son, Leland.
But then on 2 Jun 1947, Maggie married widower, Marshall Houston Bratcher there in Ardmore. (There was a marriage announcement published in The Daily Times of Salisbury, MD where her son, Herbert Elwood Horton resided). She and Marshall resided there in Ardmore until his death in 1966.
After that, Maggie moved to Ponca City to be near her widowed son Richard and granddaughter, Jeanne, and she stayed there until her death.
