Doraine married William Parley Hales; later divorced. She married Don Adams.
Doraine worked 28 years as Executive chef at Oakridge Country Club in Farmington, Utah. She had a life-long love for learning. She was a master gardener and loved working in her gardens raising many rare varieties of flowers and succulent plants. Collecting antiques was a favorite hobby as well. While living in Moab, she became a geology enthusiast, often hunting for rare rocks and dinosaur tracks with her husband and grandchildren.
Doraine is a member of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many capacities, one which she loved most was working with the Cub Scouts. She served as Relief Society president and was a member of the DUP. Doraine and her husband, Don, served two missions to the Trinidad/Tobago Mission and the Vancouver BC, Canada Mission. No one was a stranger to her. Doraine served many and was loved by all who knew her.
She is survived by husband, Don; her five sons, Don, Dean (Kathy), Dana (Marilyn), David (Kathy), James (Diane); her two sisters EloVee (Bert) Borski, and Angie (Thomas) Willims; 20 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 31, 2006, 11 a.m. at the Kaysville Tabernacle, 198 W. Center Street. Friends and family may call Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 N. Main, and Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the tabernacle.
