He was born October 27,1883, the son of Benjamin and Rachel Davis. He farmed near Marysville.
Surviving are his wife, the former Jane McKenzie; three daughters, Mrs. Charles Sims of Marysville, Mrs. Arlen Amsberry of Hamilton and Mrs. Harry Feagins of Bussey; one son Leo Davis of Hamilton, and a sister, Mrs. Jennie Ivy of Osceola.
Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Marysville Methodist Church, in charge of Robert Zimmerman.
Burial was in the Marysville cemetery.
